Simon Hunt - Chairman (Non-executive) Simon has a wealth of experience in the electronics and software technology industries with previous roles as financial director at ACT group, Imagination Technologies PLC and Anite Group. Simon is currently a private investor in various technology companies in both the UK and the USA. He was appointed to the board in 2007.

Bjorn Krylander - Managing Director Bjorn joined Datapath in 2010 to lead the company in its continued growth. Bjorn brings substantial experience from the technology sector and has served as CEO at Cambrige Broadband Networks, the fast growing microwave company, and as CEO at UbiNetics, the UK 3G innovator, which was acquired in 2005. Bjorn has extensive experience from Ericsson where he spent 14 years. Bjorn holds an MSc in Electronic Engineering from Lund University in Sweden.

Steve De'Ath - Research Director Steve was previously an Electronic Engineer at Rolls Royce in Derby before forming Datapath Ltd with Tony Jones in 1982. Steve's original role was as Technical Director responsible for hardware design and more recently as Managing Director. In 2010 Steve assumed the appointment of Research Director after he brought in Bjorn to take over as Managing Director.

Tony Jones - Operations Director Tony was previously an Electronics Engineer at Rolls Royce in Derby, involved in the development of telemetry systems. After forming Datapath with Steve De'Ath in 1982, Tony has concentrated on product manufacture and logistics. He has 40 years experience in the electronis industry.

Nigel Fasey - Financial Director Appointed in 2007, Nigel qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1994. He has held Financial Director posts in the IT sectors with Nexor and Mediawave Group but has experience outside of the industry with Belle Group, a £50m turnover manufacturing business. Nigel also brings a wealth of experience from his days as an indpendent consultant specialising in business improvement.

Richard Smith - Software Engineering Director Richard joined Datapath as a Senior Software Engineer in 1989 and has been a major contributor to many Datapath products since that time. In 2007 Richard was appointed head of software engineering and subsequently joined the board of directors in 2008. Richard has many years experience in the computer graphics industry and plays a key role in product development.

John Storey - Hardware Engineering Director John joined Datapath as a Senior Hardware Engineer in 2003 and has played a major role in developing Datapath's current product range. John graduated with a 1st Class Honours degree in Physics from the Imperial College and has over 20 years experience in the industry with previous roles at Kodak, Videologic and Virtually. In 2007 John was appointed head of hardware engineering and subsequently joined the board of directors in 2008.

Donald Maclennan - Director (Non-executive) Donald is a chartered accountant with more than 30 years venture capital experience. He has worked with 3i, Gartmore, Natwest Equity Partners (now Bridgepoint Capital) and Close Ventures. He is now a partner with the Foresight Group LLP. Donald represents our Foresight VCT investors and joined the Datapath board in 2007.
