The role will offer the challenge and satisfaction of developing visualisation solutions for diverse areas such as media servers for rock shows to display controllers for control rooms in power stations within a World leading company in the field of computer graphics and video wall display technology.
Job Function
- Design and develop device drivers for Datapath designed hardware.
- Driver development for Windows and other standard APIs and for Datapath native APIs.
- Develop technical solutions with colleagues, partners and customers for a wide variety of application and software areas.
- Support for customer development of software using all above APIs.
- Provision of ongoing general tecnhnical support for customers.
Skills and Experience
- Strong team skills are required to ensure efficient integration of software components and applications developed with Datapath's software team.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Windbg use for debugging in C and x86/ x64 Assembler.
- Essential OS debugging skills.
- Linux and/or Mac OS X development experience would be desirable.
- AV-Streaming/ DirectShow development.
- WDM/ WDK/ KMDF Kernel device driver development.
- Windows SDK Application development in Visual Studio and C.
- Some embedded software experience would be an asset, but most important is an ability to work closely with hardware engineering during board development.
