 Video Walls

The VisionRGB range of video capture cards are fully integrated with the Datapath family of video wall display products. The VisionRGB-X2 captures the display output (component HD, HDMI, analog RGB or single link DVI) from one source and then displays it as an independent application on your video wall. This is done in real time, enabling you to view data from PCs, MACs, industrial/ medical equipment, cameras and other video equipment.

The VisionRGB-X2 has 2 connectors for feeding independent data sources directly into your main PC. The VisionRGB-X2 captures the HD/ HDMI/ RGB/ DVI data and stores it in an on-board video buffer. This data is then copied using Direct Memory Access (DMA) to host for display.

  • DMA transfers the data across the PCI bus without using host CPU cycles
  • On board processor minimises system CPU load
  • When used with the Datapath range of graphics card adapters, the CPU load is negligible even if the image is being upscaled to video wall, resulting in real time performance
  • Captures data at a maximum pixel rate of 340MHz. Once captures the data is converted to either 555, 565 or 888 pixel and YUV mode formats and then transferred over the PCI bus to host memory, for display on the desktop
  • Dynamic input source selection
  • Administrator source selection
  • Administrator mode
  • Update indicator
  • Application program is also built into the Datapath Wall Control software for video wall systems
