- Using the mouse, right click on the My Computer located on your desktop, and the following menus is diplayed:

- Select Properties from the menu to display the System Properties, select the Advance tab and the following dialog is displayed:

- Select the StartUp and Recovery option and the followig dialog is displayed:

- Uncheck the Automatically reboot check box and select OK
- Select Kernel Memory Dump from the "Write bugging information" dropdown menu and in the dumpfile edit box, insert a path to store the memory dump. The only dump available in systems containing 4GB RAM or more is the Kernal memory dump. The dump file will be approx 0.5GB in size
- Click on OK
- Invoke the BSOD that has been causing your problems
- During the BSOD a complete memoey dump will be created
- Re-boot the machine into safe mode and retrieve the memory dump
- Using an ftp program upload the memory dump to an ftp address given to you by a member of our support staff
- You should then inform our support staff the memory dumo has been uploaded
