The Vantage4 range of PCI graphics adapters offers the ultimate solution for high specification video wall and data wall applications. Vantage4 provides the highest performance graphics processing combined with lower power operation allowing up to 16 cards in a single PC. The Vantage4-PRO offers a lower cost option for video overlays, providing 1 overlay per display and on-board 16 x 8 video matrix switch. The Vantage4-SIP also provides 1 video overlay processor per display channel combined with 256Mb of overlay supporting up to 16 overlay windows per display channel with tripple buffering.

Vantage4

Vantage4 operates with the Windows® XP Professional operating system and spreads the Windows® desktop across the multi-screen display. Windows® applications can be positioned and sized anywhere on the desktop. The Windows® operating system sees the multi-screen display as 1 large desktop.

Vantage4-PRO

Vantage4-PRO video overlays provide 1 overlay window per display channel. The overlays can be positioned and sized anywhere across the multi-screen display. The restriction is that no more than 1 overlay may be opened on the same screen. Vantage4-PRO is used in conjunction with the Video Input Module (VIM) for inputting video sources. Various input modules are available and support up to 128 video inputs. Each overlay window can select anyone of the available inputs for display.

The Vantage4-PRO has all the same features as the Vantage4 and in addition: 4 high quality video overlays, each at 720 x 560 (One overlay per channel) 4 PAL/NTSC/SECAM or S-video decoders 4 high quality de-interlaced video overlays with tripple buffering In built 16 x 8 video matrix switch supporting 16 composite or 8 S-video inputs

Video Input Options for the Vantage4-PRO

VIM16	The VIM16 provides 16 analog inputs to each set of Vantage4-PRO cards it is connected to. The VIM16 can connect to 2 sets upto a maximum of 16 Vantage4-PRO cards in each system. Each video overlay window can select any 1 of 16 possible video inputs.
VisionSwitch32-H	For systems needing more than 16 inputs, use a single or multiple VisionSwitch32-H cards to increase the number of inputs to 32, 64, 96 or 128. (1, 2, 3 or 4 VisionSwitch32-H cards) The VisionSwitch32-H is supplied with 2 BNC16-cables or the optional PANEL-16A

Vantage4-SIP

The new Vantage4-SIP provides 1 video overlay processor per display channel combined with 256Mb of overlay memory supporting up to 16 overlay windows per display channel with tripple buffering.

The Vantage4-SIP has all the same features as the Vantage4 and in addition: 4 SIP video processors each with 64Mb overlay memory (total 256Mb) High speed 5Gb/s SIP digital video input port for the Mosaic-SQ16 and Mosaic-HQ8, supporting up to 128 video channels 16 video overlay windows per display channel (64 windows total) 4 x 1280 x 1024 high resolution video overlays

Software Features

Drivers

• Special multi-screen display driver for use with Windows® 2000, Windows® Server 2003 and Windows® XP Professional. The function of the display driver is to present one large desktop to the Windows operating system. The multi-screen driver will support up to a maximum of 64 screens.

Wall Control

• Datapath Wall Control software enables you to configure your video wall display, launch video overlays and create a video wall layout configuration, it is possible to save layouts and recall them for future use.
• Wall Control presents a representational window of the entire video wall showing position and size of video overlay windows, RGB windows (if used in conjunction with the Vision RGB product) and control dialogs for Vision Switch.
• It is possible to operate Wall Control on a remote PC via a network connection.

The Datapath Vantage4 range of graphics cards can be used as a simple 4 screen desktop display or a multiple 64 screen data/video wall.
