The VIM range of modules comprise of 4 x BNC or RCA connectors mounted on a PC back panel for feeding composite video or S-Video to the iH4-PRO/DIG and the Vantage4-PRO. The VIM-1 is supplied with a single connector ribbon cable which will allow the VIM to be connected to a single graphics adapter. The VIM will support up to 10 iH4-PRO cards or 16 Vantage4-PRO cards. VIM Models. X = Specifies the number of graphics cards to be connected to the VIM. Y = Specifies the type of input connector. How to order the model you require:
Example: 1. If you are using 4 x iH4-PRO and you require RCA inputs then order VIM-4-RCA. 2. If you are using 8 x Vantage4-PRO and you require BNC inputs then order VIM-8V-BNC. The illustration bellow shows how to connect the VIM-6 to six iH4-PROcards:
