Datapath, multi-award-winning engineers of visual solutions, has appointed former training manager Adam Marden as its new Sales and Account manager for the UK, Ireland, Nordics and Baltics.
Adam, who achieved his Certified Training Specialist (CTS) qualification two years ago, has a background in IT and AV training that stretches back over ten years, with the past five seeing him regularly supporting Datapath customers around the globe with AVIXA-accredited CTS courses and training.
Effective immediately, Adam’s new role will see him managing Datapath’s growing customer base in Northern Europe.
Celebrating the appointment, he said: “I am thrilled to be taking this key appointment and to build on existing relationships. I am passionate about Datapath’s products and service and I’m looking forward to working closely with our established customer base as well as introducing new customers to the benefits of working with Datapath’s award-winning solutions. My first ‘public’ showing will be at the Midwich Technology Exposed event in September and I look forward to meeting faces old and new.”
Phil Davenport, Director of Sales & Operations (EMEA) said: “Here at Datapath, we aim to provide the highest levels of sales support in the industry, plus we are big advocates of promoting from within where possible. Adam has proved himself as a highly effective people person and a superb trainer. He already has established relationships with many of our customers. Along with his personable nature, Adam clearly has an excellent technical understanding of Datapath’s offering and we are look forward to supporting him in what, I’m sure, will prove to be a fantastic appointment.”
Adam replaces Paul Corsbie-Smith, who has joined a media player manufacturer in the digital signage market after nearly three years with Datapath.
