Datapath appoints Senior Sales Manager for Mid-West USA

Datapath, world-leading engineers of visual solutions, has appointed Rajiv Belur as its Senior Sales Manager for Mid-West USA. Rajiv, who joined on 15 May, is one of several recent appointments to the rapidly growing team in the Americas, where Datapath is witnessing increasing uptake of its market-leading wall display, video graphics and capture technologies.

“I am looking forward to promoting Datapath’s products and services to potential customers in the Mid-West,” says Rajiv. “In the first instance, I will be increasing brand awareness and building a strong network of clients, particularly among the large contingent of AV-industry system integrators in the region.”

Based in Austin, Rajiv will be covering the entire central belt, from Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Oklahoma in the south, up through Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana and Michigan, and into the northern states of South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Rajiv comes to Datapath from Touch Systems, where he was Vice President of Sales and Business Development. Prior to that, he worked at companies including Ingram Micro, Visual Solutions Distributing and Activelight, of which he was the co-founder. Rajiv holds two degrees, majoring in electronics and finance/economics, as well as certifications that include DSCE (Digital Signage Certified Expert).

“I have 25 years of experience in the AV industry, which I will now apply to the business streams in which Datapath operates,” says Rajiv. “My established network of relationships with AV dealers and resellers will be a good starting point. The oil & gas industry is obviously a big market here at the southern end of the Mid-West, where there are a lot of command and control applications. Further north, in cities such as Chicago, there is an abundance of system houses in need of graphics card solutions, for example.”
