4k Signage

One of the leading products from world-leading engineers of visual solutions, Datapath, has had been nominated in the prestigious 2018 InAVation Awards. The Datapath Fx4 video wall controller has been put forward in the ‘Technology for Digital Signage’ category. Voting is already open at www.inavationawards.com/voting with the winners announced at a showpiece evening ceremony on 6 February 2018, the first day of the ISE show in Amsterdam. OEMs, distributors, system integrators, rental companies, consultants and end users are all invited to vote for their favourite technologies before the deadline of 26 January 2018.

For 11 years the InAVation Awards have recognised the very best the AV industry has to offer. As this globally recognised and respected competition enters its second decade, it remains highly relevant thanks to a respected judging panel and the quality and continuing achievements of the technologies, projects and people that make up the list of previous winners and nominees.

Datapath has high hopes for success with its Fx4, which provides four outputs from a single box, presenting a multitude of creative possibilities. Moreover, if required, the Fx4 can be daisy-chained to build exceptionally large video walls without any signal degradation. With dual Ethernet port capability, only one Datapath Fx4 in the chain requires connection to the physical LAN as Ethernet loop-through is supported on the second port, meaning multiple devices can be connected.

The most recent firmware upgrade to the Fx4 has seen the introduction of 4K at 60 fps on the HDMI input, boosting quality so that video content appears even smoother.
