In the build up to exhibiting at TecnoMultimedia InfoComm Colombia (TMI Colombia) on November 15-17, world-leading engineers of visual solutions Datapath has announced details of a new distribution deal. Moving forward the company will partner with Automa as one of its distributors in Colombia for multi-display products, including the iolite range of video wall controllers, VSNMicro controllers and Quant software.

Automa is one of Colombia’s leading suppliers of professional AV solutions for applications that include video walls, digital signage and control centres. The company, which constantly strives to enhance its customer offer through the integration of new brands into its portfolio, has more than 13 years’ experience in providing technology solutions for both the public and private sectors.

Datapath and Automa will make their first public appearance together on Stand 401 at TMI Colombia (www.tecnomultimedia.com). The show takes place at the Corferias International Convention and Exhibition Centre in Bogota, open each day from 13:00-20:00. TMI Colombia has been growing year-on-year, with around 4600 visitors attending from across the Latin America region in 2017.

On the Automa stand, visitors will be able to see the latest cutting-edge Datapath multi-display products for the professional AV market, including the iolite range. iolite is a series of discreet, stylish video wall controllers for small to medium scale walls found in retail, corporate reception and boardroom environments. These innovative controllers offer low noise emissions and high levels of customisation and flexibility. For instance, iolite can be combined with up to six of Datapath’s Vision, decode and graphics cards to offer a flexible blend of inputs, outputs (4k or HD) and SQX IP streams.

Visitors to TMI Colombia will also be able to learn about the VSNMicro 600, which offers big performance from a small footprint. This compact controller comprises a high-performance motherboard that is connected to Datapath’s Express6 PCIe backplane containing six half-length slots for use with Datapath’s range of cards. VSNMicro is highly customisable and has been designed to be very quiet for deployment in areas that will not support a standard sized wall controller chassis.

From a software perspective, TMI Colombia will provide the perfect backdrop to showcase Datapath’s new advanced application-sharing software, Quant. Designed for video-wall users working in collaborative business environments, or operation centres and control rooms, Quant’s unique capabilities allow users to view and share applications, as well as interact and make changes to original source files. Offering wide, cross-market appeal, this innovative new software, which is now ready for shipping, has been designed to work in conjunction with Datapath’s WallControl 10 software.
