The benefits of Datapath’s Quant collaboration software will be showcased at the forthcoming UC Expo 2018 exhibition in London on 16-17 May. UC Expo is Europe’s largest unified communications event, and key Datapath staff will be demonstrating how Quant facilitates smarter collaboration for truly connected business operations.

Taking place at the ExCel Centre in London, visitors to UC Expo will find Datapath on stand C125, where a video wall will be demonstrating the benefits of Quant to corporate business visitors that include ICT directors, IT managers, heads of UC and heads of collaboration.

Quant collaboration software has made quite an impact on the market since its launch in late 2017. The software allows users to view and share application windows, as well as interact and make changes to original source files. Offering wide, cross-market appeal, Quant has been designed so that authorised staff can collaborate, assign and delegate tasks instantly, in real-time, without the need for the cloud.

The software permits application windows to be shared between peers or on to a video wall. This intuitive functionality makes it easy to share important information from sometimes ad-hoc sources ‘on the fly’, saving time and expanding the usability of video walls. Additionally, it can be configured in a more permanent way to share information.

At UC Expo, Datapath will be demonstrating a number of primary Quant features, including popular functionality such as share and edit. Recently added features, such as ‘Chat’ and ‘Meeting’ will also be in place.

The Chat function allows users to message one another about the shared application window, and enables ongoing dialogue, while Quant’s new Meeting function permits a user to lock either their own desktop or a Quant-controlled video wall to a selected set of users.

“This capability is useful in a video wall scenario, as meeting organisers can determine who the wall can be shared with for instant viewing, avoiding any accidental sharing with others in the business,” explains Quant Product Manager Matthew Tibbitt., who will be joined on the stand by Datapath’s Director of Sales and EMEA operations, Phil Davenport.

We look forward to seeing you there.
