Datapath, world-leading engineers of visual solutions, will use ISE 2018 (Amsterdam, 6-9 February) to shine the spotlight on its new Quant application-sharing software for mainstream video-wall users working in collaborative business environments, along with operation centres and control rooms. The company stage live demonstrations of Quant on a number of video walls at Stand B120 in Hall 11.

The eye-catching 150m2 Datapath stand at ISE 2018 has been purpose-designed to allow easy visitor access and active demonstrations. On a 3×2 screen video wall intended to replicate a collaborative boardroom environment, visitors will be able to see for themselves the unique capabilities of Quant, which allows users to view and share applications, as well as interact and make changes to original source files. For those interested in command and control applications, the Datapath stand will also feature two further video walls demonstrating the potential of Quant in this sector.

Offering wide, cross-market appeal, Quant has been designed for users to collaborate, assign and delegate tasks instantly, in real-time, without the need for the cloud. The software permits application windows to be shared between peers or on to a video wall using a dedicated Quant icon.

This intuitive functionality makes it easy to share important information from sometimes ad-hoc sources ‘on the fly’, saving time and expanding the usability of video walls. Additionally, it can be configured in a more permanent way to share information.

Quant also offers simultaneous interactivity within the same application by multiple users, as well as instant synchronisation between peers in a group, including those running video walls. What’s more, end user can mix and match sources regardless of where they originate from.

Elsewhere on the stand, Datapath will showcase its capability in creative digital displays. Here, two ‘scatter’ walls will be driven by the company’s Fx4 new-generation display wall controller. Designed for applications such as retail, prestige signage, live events and broadcasts, Fx4 controllers allow users to easily manage multiple video and audio inputs and outputs.

In addition, two innovative demo pods will be set-up on the stand to highlight the attributes of Datapath’s Wall Designer software, the company’s advanced video-wall design and implementation suite that allows user to unleash their creative side.

A special drinks reception is planned for Wednesday 7 February, between 16:30 and 18:30, when all are welcome to call by the stand to discuss technology, business, the show and anything else besides.
