Datapath returned for InfoComm 2022 in Las Vegas for the first time in four years and – just as the City’s slogan suggests – it was ‘fabulous’ to reunite with our Americas partners and connections in Nevada.
In a week of soaring temperatures – reaching a record-equalling 110 degrees Fahrenheit – the (much cooler) Las Vegas Convention Center once again hosted the cream of the AV industry. Datapath were situated in the West Hall of the venue, where we showcased our latest Aetria solution to a full-scale US trade show audience for the first time.
It was clear from the first day of the three-day day show that our international team were going to be busy, with demonstrations being requested just seconds into the show’s opening. With Datapath account managers from Canada, coast-to-coast US and LATAM, the event proved to be an excellent opportunity to further develop business relationships, as well as bring new business.
Mark Bohs, Director of Sales (Americas), said: “Showcasing the power and versatility of Datapath with our full Americas sales team has been a huge success and the quality of visitors to our booth has been exceptional. Our Aetria solution is a product that needs to be experienced to fully appreciate its benefits and we are excited to be following up on some terrific opportunities in both North and South America.”
He adds: “It’s always great when our team gets together and InfoComm 22 saw some of our US and European teams meeting face-to-face for the first time since the pandemic, which was fantastic. Whether our booth visitors needed expertise in Sau Paulo, San Franciso or Springfield, Massachusetts, we have the dedicated experts to support their requirements.”
Staff and customers gathered on the booth on Day two of the show to celebrate Datapath’s 40th year anniversary, complete with a free bar, canapes and a retro 80s playlist. The week was further boosted by yet another industry award as Datapath claimed a Best In Show accolade from AV Technology magazine. The award went to our intelligent AV over IP solution – Aligo – which brings a new dimension to sharing video across different networks.
From our experience, it is clear that large-scale trade shows are back and we look forward to returning to the (slightly) cooler climate of Orlando in 2023. From all at Datapath, thank you for visiting us in Las Vegas and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
