Datapath enjoyed a busy and productive ISE 2018, highlighted by our Fx4 controller winning the Best Digital Signage Technology honour at the InAVation Awards.
Staged on the first night of the show, over 800 people gathered at Amsterdam’s Gashouder for an evening of AV celebration and appreciation. As well as claiming our Best Digital
Signage Technology accolade, we were delighted to see our distribution partner Mindstec win Best Distributor. We’d like to extend our thanks to InAvate and Integrated Systems Europe for a truly memorable evening.
With a record-breaking 80,000+ show attendees, and 1,200 exhibitors, ISE 2018 was the busiest AV show ever and Datapath’s full global team were on hand to provide assistance to the wide range of international show visitors.
Our Hall 11 booth was packed with our latest product developments and it was great to welcome customers old and new as we demonstrated the latest additions to the Datapath portfolio.
Throughout the show, we staged live demonstrations of our Quant software – showing in real time how our new application-sharing software allows for true collaboration. The ability to edit and write to the source file with your peer group was an eye-opener for many seeing it for the first time, with some commenting that it was the most innovative software they had seen at ISE.
With the ability to work seamlessly with our WallControl 10 software, Quant is ideally suited to boardrooms and command and control video walls and we left the show with a high number of quality leads to follow up.
Also being shown at ISE for the first time was our latest standalone display wall controller – the Hx4. Designed to run unnoticed in smaller applications, the Hx4 brings all the trusted reliability and performance you expect from Datapath, with specifications that allows for creative displays.
Capable of delivering a single 4K HDMI source across four HD outputs in ultra-high definition, the Hx4 brings power and allows creativity for any digital display configuration. A single HDMI1.4 input provides four HDMI1.3 outputs, allowing infinite possibilities and the ability to rotate crop, upscale and mirror content.
Phil Davenport, Director of Sales for Datapath EMEA, said: “It was great to bring so many new additions to ISE and showcase our new products direct to the AV industry. ISE is now the biggest event of its type in the world and is the perfect ‘shop window’ for our latest developments.”
He added: “It is also great to receive feedback from customers and end users, which is vital to our product road maps. We’re delighted to say that our Quant collaboration software proved particularly popular with visitors to our stand. Our new Hx4 was also very well received, as were the improvements we’ve made to our VSN chassis. Along with our fantastic InAVation Award for our Fx4, it has been a highly successful show.
