Datapath’s class-leading WallControl 10 software for video walls was bestowed with a ‘Best of Show Award’ at the InfoComm 2017 exhibition in the USA. Judged by nine AV industry professionals, including CTS-certified technology managers and AV/IT engineers, the Best of Show Awards track the standouts from thousands of products displayed by over 950 exhibitors. Products were judged live on the show floor.
NewBay Media’s AV Technology magazine brand announced that WallControl 10 had indeed been honoured with a Best of Show Award. In reaching their decision, the judges looked not just for ‘the next new thing’, but solutions that were intuitive, easy to use, versatile, feature-rich and reliable. ROI was another critical factor.
WallControl 10 software provides users with the interface needed to quickly and effectively manage video walls of any size, in real-time. Available for Datapath’s VSN and iolite range of video wall controllers, WallControl 10 allows the easy control of output sources such as IP feeds, video captures and local applications, even for the most complex of video wall configurations.
Among the software’s standout features is MultiWall, whereby multiple walls can be managed by a single user or interface, and User Rights Management, where registered users are assigned differing access rights. Furthermore, administrators have the ability to ensure that only authorised personnel can access certain functionality, which may be critical in command and control or security environments, where information is highly sensitive.
